  A wonderful place...amazing views and incredible attention to detail. Great breakfast included. The restaurant is top notch with local flavours--wonderfully well stocked bar with some fun local twists on classic cocktails. Truly an amazing place!!!

  We are innkeepers and have been traveling nearly three weeks in NS and NF and this has been our favorite. The view is fabulous out our window. The rooms are totally refurbished with all the best amenities. Darlene and staff are extremely helpful and friendly. The chowder is the best in all of North America. The prices are great. We would love to come back and highly recommend it to anyone.

  We had a wonderful 3 night stay. We were at the Inn for the first 2 nights and in the Seaside Suite by the water for our last night. The Inn looks very simple from the roadside, but on the inside, it is a real gem. The rooms are bright, modern, spotlessly clean and very quiet. The lobby sitting room is very comfortable with great views of the water. Food and service in the dining room is superb and we had 3 excellent suppers there, again with nice views of the water. The pub is nicely furnished and we enjoyed good conversations with fellow travellers and Murdoch, the bartender.

  We didn’t stay at the Inn, so our review is only for the restaurant - which we highly, highly recommend. The dishes were innovative twists on traditional ingredients - hazelnut crusted cod, and moose spring rolls. Dessert was just as lovely. The wait staff was professional and courteous. The price was higher than other restaurants in the area, and reservations were required. If you’re looking for something outside the average, this is a great choice. Every bite was delicious.

  The seaside suite was a real treat. It is spacious and comes with a fishing rod so that you could even fish from the deck. We loved having our morning coffee on the deck by the water in the warmth of the sunrise.

  The owner, Darlene is the perfect host. She recommended things to do and sites to see. She made us feel welcome with her warm smile.

  The completely refreshed Inn certainly echoes the steady revitalization and growth occurring in Woody Point year after year. Dined recently with my family, and have to say the meal was notably delicious, and the service was warm and accommodating. We ordered and very much enjoyed the moose samosas, Newfoundland chowder, cod and chicken mains, and lastly the chocolate mousse/candied Caribou lichen dessert. We certainly look forward to returning again soon upon our next visit to the area.
